Job Description
Target start date: June 2
Fully remote: Candidate must be located in one of these states (ID, WA OR, UT)
Duration: 6 months contract with the potential to convert to a permanent/full time role.
Min. 1 year experience in Customer Service or Insurance required
Pay rate: $20.29/per hour
Responsibilities
· Provide information, education and assistance to members, providers, other insurance companies, attorneys, agents/brokers or other customer representatives on recorded phone lines regarding benefits, claims and eligibility.
· Respond to multiple inquiries on all designated lines of business.
Logistics
· Location: Remote - Candidates MUST reside in one of these four states: Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah.
· Work Schedule: Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time, 7 days per week. Exact shift schedules may vary based on call volumes and workload. 40 hour work week. Overtime will NOT be authorized for this engagement.
· Candidates MUST be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
· Contractors will be using client-provided equipment.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1 year customer service call center experience within some form of healthcare
· Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
· Demonstrated ability of strong customer-service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette.
· Exceptional communication skills
Work From Home Requirements:
· Our client's computers can only connect through the following types of "hard-wired”Internet Service Providers (ISPs): CATV/Cable Modem, DSL or Fiber. The equipment does NOT support Satellite or mobile WIFI internet connectivity. NOTE: Contractors should prepared to plug their computer directly into their router/modem if needed (e.g., may be required by specific software applications).
· Keyboarding skills of 30 wpm with 95% accuracy.
