Base pay range $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr Mammoth Distribution is looking for a Field Representative to build retail relationships and ensures optimal product placement for our brands in New Jersey. This role focuses on merchandising, inventory management, and executing promotions to maximize visibility and sales. Serving as the face of the brand, the Mammoth Field Representative provides experiential product educations, in-store activations, and ensures consistent brand standards across retail accounts. Perfect Role For You If You Are Personable and engaging – you enjoy building relationships and thrive in face-to-face interactions with retail teams and consumers Naturally curious – you’re passionate about learning and educating others, especially when it comes to product details and brand storytelling Proactive and self-driven – you take initiative, manage your own schedule, and don’t wait to be told what to do Detail-obsessed – you care about execution, presentation, and keeping retail displays sharp and on-brand Adaptable – you’re comfortable shifting between tasks like training, merchandising, inventory tracking, and demo execution Calm under pressure – you can stay organized and professional when juggling multiple accounts, travel, or last-minute changes Key Responsibilities Brand introduction and Lead Engagement Engage with new retail leads, introduce or enhance Heavy Hitters awareness, nurture & educate Order Support and Inventory Management Order placement for retailers and ensure timely replenishment Monitor inventory levels in person and leveraging inventory management tool Optimize replenishments using sell-through data – quantitative and qualitative Draft mock orders Budtender Engagement and Education Brand story/promise education Train staff on products (features and benefits) key selling points Nurture retail staff In-Store Demos Execute in-store demos and promotional tables to increase consumer awareness of Heavy Hitters and product trial Retail Display Maintenance Ensure products displays are organized and visually appealing in line with brand standards Arrange products to maximize shelf visibility Maintain promotional materials such as signs, shelf talkers and display kits Key Indicators of Success In-Store Visits: Completes a consistent cadence of in-store visits, as determined by market needs and manager guidance, to maintain strong retail engagement. Demos: Executes in-store product demonstrations to drive consumer awareness, trial, and sales lift, with frequency set by the manager based on market opportunity. New Leads and Account Onboarding: Prioritizes timely outreach to new retail leads and supports early-stage relationship-building and onboarding in alignment with sales strategy. Account Coverage: Maintains a regular rotation of visits across assigned accounts to strengthen relationships and address ongoing needs. Visual Merchandising Compliance: Delivers merchandising excellence and achieves full compliance with brand standards by uploading photo documentation in Repsly. Out-of-Stock (OOS) Rate: Proactively identifies and addresses out-of-stock risks by monitoring inventory levels and using tools like Headset and LitAlerts to inform replenishment efforts. Brand Education: Supports retail sell-through by conducting budtender training sessions focused on product features, benefits, and key selling points. Skill And Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal; ability to engage with customers and consumers Self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Detail oriented with a focus on maintaining brand standards Proficient in managing time, multitasking, prioritizing responsibilities across multiple retail locations Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite Minimum Performance Requirements Exhibit behavior and operate aligned with culture values Support Sales Order entry through Leaflink Data tracking Customer outreach communication Customer service responses Draft mock orders Repsly Assist with sell through via: Intentional visits/interactions Budtender education and engagement Engage and education with consumers through brand demos Communicate regularly and clearly Full-time role on the road 80% of the time Physical Requirements Able to drive for long periods at a time Able to view, type and utilize a computer/smart phone for 8-10 hours per day Clear speech, vision and hearing Able to lift 15-20lbs Able to bend, twist, turn Able to grasp, push, pull
