We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Accountant and Bookkeeper to join a dynamic team. This role involves federal and state tax compliance work, including tax preparation and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping. Our office offers a variety of services, including consulting on federal and state taxes, insurance, investments, real estate, financial planning, and other related matters.

Position Type:

Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary:

$24.00 to $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting
Licenses/Certifications: QuickBooks certification or proficiency
Responsibilities & Skills:

Full-cycle tax preparation for basic C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, trusts, and individual returns
Strong computer and time management skills with proficiency in tax preparation software (Lacerte preferred but not required), Adobe, Excel, and QuickBooks
Excellent communication skills
Full-charge bookkeeping experience
