Click Here Digital is seeking a highly experienced Senior Paid Search Director to lead our Paid Search department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of paid search strategy, execution, and performance across the agency’s client portfolio. As the department head, you will drive strategic initiatives, foster a high-performance team culture, and ensure best-in-class campaign results. This role requires 5 to 7 years of paid search experience and a minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience managing teams and overseeing paid search operations in a fast-paced agency environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and Manage the Paid Search Department: Oversee all paid search operations, strategy development, execution, and optimization for a diverse portfolio of clients. Department Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Paid Search Leaders and Analysts, ensuring high levels of engagement, productivity, and performance. Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with the Paid Media Operations and Technical Directors and cross-functional leaders to align team priorities with company objectives and client goals. High-Level Account Oversight: Oversee our portfolio of key accounts ensuring strategic excellence and client satisfaction. Resource Planning & Team Scaling: Plan team account allocations, oversee onboarding processes, and manage team resourcing to support business growth. Process Improvement & Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce workflows, ensure rigorous QA standards for campaign execution, and oversee mid-month and end-of-month reporting processes. Training & Development: Oversee training progression for new hires and continuing education for existing staff; ensure all documentation and SOPs are up to date. Own the creation of case studies that highlight key wins, innovative strategies, and measurable outcomes. Client & Partner Relations: Act as a senior point of contact on partner and key client calls (Google, Incubeta, CallRail, etc.), and represent the agency in high-level client interactions. Innovation & Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, search engine algorithm changes, and emerging technologies; spearhead initiatives like new campaign type roll-outs like performance max, demand gen, and proper testing/split-testing products and performance. Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on department performance, including core KPIs, team productivity, and campaign success metrics to executive leadership. Required Qualifications 5 to 7 years of hands-on paid search experience, with proven expertise in campaign strategy, execution, and optimization. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams within a paid search or digital marketing environment. Demonstrated success managing large-scale paid search campaigns, including accounts with monthly ad spends of $50K+ per month for lead gen campaigns (eCommerce experience is a bonus). Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and additional paid search platforms and tools. Deep technical expertise in Paid Search/SEM strategy, campaign management, and tracking. Understanding how bid-management platforms work and function (ex. Skai, SA360, Marin). Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data and performance metrics. Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills; ability to articulate complex strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences. Highly organized with attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic agency setting. Google Certifications: Google Ads, Google My Business, Google Analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Chat). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, Digital Advertising, or equivalent professional experience. Previous experience working in a digital agency environment. Experience managing campaigns in specialized verticals such as automotive, legal, and/or medical industries.
