Position Overview

A top tier general contractor with a reputation for excellence in negotiated, ground-up construction is hiring Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in Arlington, VA and Durham, NC. Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions and define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project schedules and work plans to monitor and track progress.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that all expenditures align with financial constraints.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in ground-up and commercial vertical construction projects such as multifamily development, higher-ed, or similar. 
• Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar. 
• Strong experience managing project financials and construction documentation processes such as RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
