Job Description: As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, your primary responsibility is to operate press brake and laser cutting equipment to shape and fabricate sheet metal components for our ATM machines. Your precision and attention to detail are critical to ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a growing and innovative industry.
Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate press brake and laser cutting machinery to fabricate sheet metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Safely and efficiently handle and load materials into the equipment.
- Monitor the production process to ensure accurate bending and cutting of sheet metal.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment as needed.
- Inspect finished components for quality and precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (Technical or trade school training in sheet metal fabrication is a plus).
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, specifically in press brake and laser operations.
- Knowledge of sheet metal materials, measurements, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work various shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift availability).
- Team player with good communication skills.
