Overview A high-profile individual is seeking a part-time personal assistant on the Upper East Side. Candidates should be willing to work out of the principal’s UES home, even though the principal will spend the majority of their time in Palm Beach, FL. The schedule will typically be 9:00am-5:00pm, 3 days per week, and candidates may specify their preference in terms of which days they prefer to work. Additional hours maybe required from time to time when the principal entertains or requires last-minute bookings or other. Responsibilities Working collaboratively with the houseman and housekeepers, sorting through mail, writing checks, receiving packages, managing vendors and troubleshooting repairs and maintenance (both indoor and outdoor), forwarding tax and accounting issues to the principal’s accountant (no accounting/bill pay required), arranging travel for the principal, managing the principal’s social calendar, managing dinner parties (including engaging caterers, wait staff etc.), and more. There may be very occasional travel to Palm Beach, or other domestic and international locations (e.g. Paris, London), so candidates must be passport-ready.
