Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support.
We Need:
InReach needs an Independent Contractor to work as Direct Support Professional (DSP) Staff for a Young Adult Male Individual with Developmental Disabilities in Indian Trail, NC in the Union County location.
DSP Staff will provide Day Support Services, Community Networking Services, and Supported Employment Services. These services will be out in the community and at home. This is a home with pets
**Must be able to transport and handle a wheelchair - **Must be able to handle some lifting
Schedule: Monday thru Friday (8am to 5pm)
Pay Rate: Day Support Services @ $22.52/hr - Community Networking Svc @ $22.27/hr
What You'll Do:
All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.
*** This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state-required training, Occupational Accident Insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
