Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring skilled Drywall Finishers for multiple projects across Northeast Ohio with the initial project starting in Hudson, OH. This a full-time 40-hour a week position with NO end date for the reliable, productive finishers. OSHA 10 a plus but not required.
Drywall Finisher Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, wallpaper, or drywall
- Repair any cracks or imperfections in the drywall
- Apply joint compound to seams and smooth out any excess
- Sand surfaces to create a smooth and even finish
- Apply texture or decorative finishes as required
- Prime surfaces before painting or wallpapering
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Drywall Finisher Experience :
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques and materials
- Proficiency in plumb, tile laying, stucco, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and caulking
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Drywall Finisher Compensation/Benefits:
- $29/hr
- M-F 40 hours a week
