General Driving Duties: Drives safely and operates a class 8 vehicle Operates in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws as related to motor carrier safety regulations Loads bulk- tank trailers at various racks Unloads petroleum products at customer locations in tanks located above and below ground Performs basic vehicle up-keep such as cleaning the cab interior, cleaning windshields, check and maintaining all fluid levels, tire pressure and, re-fueling truck Additional Duties: Completes daily driving log according to state and federal regulations Completes daily Vehicle Inspection Report Maintains contact with dispatch team to receive loading and delivery instructions Communicates any customer needs to appropriate office personnel Reports all accidents and injuries to supervisor, regardless of severity Qualifications: 2+ years of verifiable driving experience; current Class A CDL with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsement; must possess a clean driving record; must be at least 25 years old; good time management and organizational skills and, possess the ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
