Job Title: Carpenter, $30-35/hr., $100/day worked per diem if 75 miles from site

Jobsite Location: Bluffton, OH

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team for a project at a car dealership in Bluffton, OH. The role involves working Monday through Friday, with nine-hour workdays. You will be responsible for constructing and installing various wooden structures, ensuring the project is completed efficiently and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Install trusses and wood framing for the dealership.
• Sheet walls, roofs, and exterior walls.
• Perform interior framing, using either metal or wood.
• Contribute to drywall hanging and finishing as needed.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in commercial carpentry.
• Proficiency in construction, carpentry, and framing.
• Experience with rough carpentry and drywall.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with metal stud construction.
• Capability in drywall hanging and finishing.
• Must possess a basic tool belt with necessary tools.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment at a car dealership construction site. The team is currently behind schedule and aims to catch up by the end of the year. The dress code requires a hard hat, steel-toed boots, jeans, safety glasses, and gloves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
