A prominent Real Estate Development Firm is in need of a full-time Database Administrator/Coordinator. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teams and maintain professionalism in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and others, regardless of their role or background. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this position. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborating with software development teams to design, structure, and enhance database architecture. Installing, configuring, and maintaining both hardware and software systems in alignment with company standards. Overseeing database performance and availability, managing issues and incidents as they arise. Conducting regular maintenance checks and inspections of network and server systems. Running tests on network and server systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently. Carrying out upgrades to hardware and software to maintain peak system performance. Managing IT infrastructure and addressing support issues across the organization. Regularly updating antivirus software to safeguard systems. Offering technical assistance with servers, networks, telecommunication systems, and other computing platforms. Desired Qualifications: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to: Word Excel PowerPoint Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift 30+ lbs as needed. Exceptional organizational skills. Willingness to travel between multiple job sites within New York City. Education and Experience Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
