Job Description

Position: Construction Safety Manager

Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid)

Pay: $95,000 to $120,000/year (Depending on experience)

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience with building construction safety.
  • 5 years of construction safety process management experience.
  • 3 years of field experience in safety.

Education: Four-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management or Engineering or related degree

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Greene Resources is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Lead and enhance project safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to provide safety leadership across assigned projects.
  • Enforce safety protocols, implement corrective actions, and halt unsafe practices while training employees on proper procedures.
  • Conduct pre-construction safety meetings with jobsite staff and subcontractors to review hazard analysis and mitigation plans.
  • Perform job site inspections, weekly audits, and bi-weekly safety meetings to identify hazards and reinforce safe behavior.
  • Investigate incidents, track trends, and recommend training improvements.
  • Maintain safety records, documentation, and administrative files.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align safety efforts.
  • Participate in OSHA inspections, provide technical guidance, and support accident investigations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • OSHA 500 or 502 certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED training (within 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental principles.
  • ASP or CSP certification within 2 years of hire.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • 4 hours of documented education and hands-on experience in areas such as fall protection, scaffolding, excavation, confined space, crane operations, electrical safety, and incident investigations.
