Immediate full-time opening for a Business Development Sales Person in the greater Philadelphia area focused on Bucks and Montgomery County. Lauro Painting is a well-established residential and commercial painting contractor who is now accepting applications for a Motivated, Organized, and Independent person to fill our newly created Business Development position. This person will work collaboratively with the owner to identify commercial property managers, facility managers, and Home Remodelers resulting in long lasting relationships with Lauro Painting.

ABOUT THE JOB - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To create long lasting, raving fans of Lauro Painting.
Job Responsibilities:
To identify, nurture, and increase bid opportunities using our current database.
To identify and pursue a network of businesses that use painting services on an ongoing and frequent basis.
To identify and participate in associations and events to increase awareness to our target client.
Solicit bid opportunities and hand them to the estimating department.
Assist in delivery and closing of the bid opportunity.
Pursue information pre and post bid that will assist the company in increasing close ratios.
Collaborate with the marketing team as needed to develop strategies that support our goals.
To represent Lauro Painting with integrity and excellence in all of your actions.
To consistently deliver an excellent customer sales experience.
To follow all internal company processes and procedures.
Participate in all sales, management and company meetings and events.
Embrace and promote the company culture with all stakeholders. The community, customers, vendors, and team members.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in B2B sales or business development preferably in the construction or services industry.
Have an outgoing personality that will be necessary in sales and networking.
Enjoy developing a client base where there currently isn’t one.
Be comfortable with warm and cold calling.
Have excellent communication skills.
Be a self-starter, organized, and capable of working autonomously in order to achieve your sales goals.
Take constructive feedback and be coachable.
Have a positive and can-do attitude using the company purpose statement and values as guides.
Have a presentable vehicle, valid insurance and a valid driver's license and follow Lauro Painting Vehicle Policy.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Ability to pass a Background Check and Illegal Drug Test
Proficiency with cloud based technology, apps, and programs.
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday
Typical hours are 8-5 with occasional weekend and evening appointments
Participation of occasional community events
COMPENSATION:
This is a 100% Commission based position.
A draw against commissions will be paid weekly.
First year expected $75K-$100K
Second year expected to be $100K+
BENEFITS:
PTO-Paid Time Off
The salesperson will accrue ten (10) days PTO (vacation, personal, sick) during the first year at a rate of .1923 days per week.
During the 2nd year and beyond, the estimator/salesman can take time off as desired with 30 days notice not to exceed 1 week per quarter and 4 weeks per year.

Approved mileage will be paid for all personal vehicle use at the published IRS rate.
Mileage app will be used.
A company sales vehicle will be provided once $1,000,000 in annual sales is achieved or after 1 year.
A company car may be supplied prior to the sales goal being achieved at the company’s discretion.
