Job Description

Our client, a children’s apparel company, is hiring a Associate Designer, Childrenswear to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office).The ideal candidate should be proficient in industry-standard design software such as Illustrator and have experience working with PLM systems.

Job Duties Include:

  • Assist with entire design process including research, design, and sketching
  • Conduct seasonal and market research to identify new ideas and opportunities
  • Create and sketch design concepts and gather feedback
  • Assist with fittings as needed
  • Ensure timelines are met and communicate developments to team as needed

Job Qualifications Include:

  • 3+ years of design experience
  • Experience with sets/mix and match
  • Background in children's apparel design is preferred
  • Excellent creative skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Salary: $80k annually
