As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients while they navigate their journey towards recovery. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our team of professionals to provide individualized care and support to each client, helping them develop the tools and strategies they need to achieve long-term success. Responsibilities include monitoring client activities and documenting observations to inform therapeutic interventions, participating in admissions and orientations, conducting vital sign checks, facilitating group therapy sessions, providing transportation and assistance with daily living tasks as needed, maintaining accurate records and reports, collaborating with the treatment team to identify client strengths, needs, and goals, ensuring all program expectations and rules are followed, facilitating educational and recreational activities, adhering to medication policies, screening and monitoring detoxification clients, attending staff meetings and training sessions, and demonstrating commitment to the company's mission and goals. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of responsible employment history, knowledge of confidentiality laws, strong communication and interpersonal skills, valid driver's license (for positions requiring transportation), First Aid and CPR certification within three months of hire, completion of background checks, and successful completion of New Hire Orientation and mandatory trainings.
