Direct Marketing Administrative Assistant

This is a 2-month temporary assignment working for a nonprofit organization in Northern Westchester

The position is working in the fundraising/development office assisting with marketing material distribution.

The location is not accessible by public transportation.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.

Job Description :

This position is integral to the functioning of the direct response fundraising unit. The responsibilities include documenting procedures, trafficking, proofreading, coordination with other business units, invoice management and interaction with vendors. Other support activities will be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications :

• Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of direct marketing principles and procedures with experience in a direct marketing environment preferred.
• Effective procedure documentation.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office computing applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to learn different software packages as needed.
• Familiarity with direct mail fundraising and printing.
• Critical thinking and the ability to recognize and solve problems.
• Flexibility to deal with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work as a team member as well as independently.
