Calling all animal lovers and customer service pros - we want you on our team! Bay Road Animal Hospital is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join us in a
hybrid role combining the essential responsibilities of a
Customer Service Representative and a
Veterinary Assistant . This is your chance to become part of a brand-new hospital from the ground up and help build a positive, client- and patient-focused culture from day one.
What You'll Do: This hybrid role allows you to make a meaningful impact on both ends of the leash-supporting our clients with warmth and professionalism at the front desk while assisting our veterinary team in providing top-notch care behind the scenes. Your day-to-day may include:
•Welcoming clients and patients with kindness and empathy
•Checking patients in and out of appointments
•Managing phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records
•Assisting veterinarians and technicians with exams and treatments
•Providing support with animal restraint, cleaning, and patient care tasks
•Ensuring a clean and organized hospital environment
•Educating pet owners on general pet care and post-visit instructions

What we are looking for!•Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus - but we'll train the right person!
•Strong communication and customer service skills
•Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
•A positive attitude and eagerness to grow
•A friendly, upbeat personality and a love for both pets and people
•Experience with
Shepherd software is a bonus!
Hourly rate
$18-$24 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
