Job Description

Overview

Arke is seeking a User Experience (UX) Architect to join our successful and growing team. The UX Architect will ground our solutions in fundamental experience design principles and create a seamless handoff with creative and development teams, leveraging an iterative approach. This role is responsible for architecting user experiences across a variety of digital initiatives, including responsive and adaptive website design, portals, kiosks, mobile apps, CMS implementations, and eCommerce solutions.

If you have a passion for distilling complex business challenges into simple, easy-to-use, and meaningful experiences, we want to hear from you. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and independently drive projects forward with clients.

While this role is primarily remote day-to-day, occasional in-office attendance is needed. This is an Atlanta, GA-based position. A digital portfolio will be requested prior to interviews.

A digital portfolio will be requested as part of the evaluation process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Obtain insights and a deep understanding of users’ needs through research, journey mapping, persona/scenario development, heuristic evaluation, user/client observation, and usability testing.
  • Establish collaborative working relationships with the creative, technical, and engagement teams.
  • Develop wireframes, site maps, and rapid prototypes.
  • Assist in shaping Arke’s service offerings and evolving user experience standards.
  • Support sales by developing solution approaches for RFP responses.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience with an emphasis on digital-first initiatives.
  • 4+ years of experience leading and/or contributing to information architectures and user interface designs for digital channels.
  • Experience using the latest prototyping, wireframing, and design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro).
  • Knowledge of CSS/HTML, responsive design, and native app frameworks.
  • An understanding of design fundamentals—typography, hierarchy, layout, grid systems, etc.—is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in a UX Architect role at a digital or creative agency.
