This is a 12-hour day shift position, working from 7 AM to 7 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays required. The position offers a total of 36 hours per week.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Med-Surg Tele unit. The unit consists of 32 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. You will provide care for post-operative and medical patients, primarily focusing on surgical/orthopedic/urology cases as well as general medical issues. Familiarity with titrating drips, particularly heparin, is required, along with cardiac drip experience being preferred.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
\n
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
\n
• Participate in charge nursing duties, if willing, and assist in training new staff.
\n
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
\n
• Experience in Med-Surg or Telemetry nursing with travel experience preferred.
\n
• Ability to titrate drips and familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring.
\n
• Active nursing license required.
\n
