Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Hobbs, NM. Key Responsibilities:

\n\n

• Perform CT scanning and radiologic imaging procedures during night shifts (Monday-Thursday 10p-8a)
• Work independently as the sole CT/Radiology technologist on duty
• Maintain current BLS and ARRT CT certifications
• Obtain and maintain valid New Mexico state license
• Operate various CT equipment including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
• Perform CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head with and without contrast
• Conduct cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required
• Start peripheral IVs when necessary
• Maintain isolation precautions protocols
• Provide imaging services for patients across all age groups from neonates to older adults
• Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation
• Complete required training modules pre-start and annually
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery

Job Requirements:

\n\n

\n\t
• Active, unencumbered license in NM
\n\t
• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
\n\t
• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
\n\t
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
\n

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
\n\t
• Two current clinical references
\n\t
• State-required professional license
\n\t
• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
\n\t
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
\n\t
• Must pass background check and drug screening
\n
