\n\nJob Description\n

The Cardiac Telemetry unit specializes in monitoring patients with cardiac conditions. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and those pre/post cardiac catheterization.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and dysrhythmias.
\n
• Administer cardiac medications and manage vasoactive drips, including titration.
\n
• Caring for patients pre and post cardiac catheterization and surgical procedures.
\n
• Perform blood product administration and manage central/peripheral lines.
\n
• Participate in the Rapid Response/Code team for emergency situations.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown.
\n
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
\n
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and remote monitoring is required.
\n
• Charge experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong cardiac experience with invasive line management and cardiac drips is essential.
