Akkodis is seeking a Senior System Integration Test Engineer for a Direct hire opportunity with a client in Rockville, MD.

Salary: $125K - $145K

Role: We are looking for a Senior System Integration Test Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design and execute test cases for advanced SatCom user terminals, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will include test planning, system integration, product validation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SatCom, experience in executing test cases, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibities:

• Translate product requirements and key features into test plans and detailed test procedures.
• Set up test equipment and execute test cases across various phases, including system integration, OTA validation, and engineering field testing.
• Integrate and test the complete satellite user terminal, including active phased array antennas.
• Interface with customers during Engineering Field Testing (EFT), developing test plans, running test cases, preparing reports, and coordinating feedback.
• Support Limited Availability (LA) and General Availability (GA) product phases, ensuring seamless transitions and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in SatCom test experience with a track record in system integration.
• Proven expertise in Antenna User Terminals and RF/microwave technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system failures in a methodical manner.
• Solid understanding of IT network troubleshooting, including DHCP, TCP/IPv4 & v6, subnetting, routing, and VLANs.
• Experience with customer acceptance testing, interfacing with customers, and field support is a major plus
