We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Fishers, Indiana. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in individual tax preparation and a desire to contribute to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tax preparation and be comfortable using tax software to deliver accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist clients in gathering and organizing financial documents needed for tax preparation.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations while identifying potential deductions and credits.
• Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related inquiries and concerns.
• Utilize Ultra Tax software to complete tax filings and maintain accurate records.
• Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax scenarios and deliver solutions.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in handling client information.• A minimum of 3 years of experience in individual tax preparation.
• Proficiency in using Ultra Tax or similar tax preparation software.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Experience with corporate tax preparation is a plus, but not required.
