Job Description

Your next career step
In this role you will be responsible for developing and driving the regional strategy for Budenheim’s Life Science division in Asia Pacific, with a focus on the clusters Nutrition, Pharma, Savory, and Baking. As a key contributor to our growth ambitions, you will translate this strategy into a targeted, actionable regional marketing plan.

But what truly makes this role special is the team behind it. Joining us means becoming part of something meaningful, where your voice matters and your contributions are valued.

Your Tasks
  • Develop impactful strategies for our clusters to successfully capture profitable niche markets in the region by leveraging clear and differentiated value propositions.
  • Collaborate closely with Cluster Portfolio Managers to ensure strategic alignment and execution, providing targeted market intelligence to support regional product launches.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to create in-depth market analyses for relevant segments, in coordination with the global marketing matrix organization.
  • Identify new business opportunities and application areas in collaboration with regional sales teams and the Innovation & Application Development team.
  • Support the creation of high-quality sales tools (e.g., brochures, presentations, sales flyers, digital media, with a focus on application sheets) to drive qualified lead generation across Life Science clusters.
  • Assist with regional trade show activities, technical seminars, and industry conferences on behalf of the Life Science division.
Your Profile
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in marketing specialties, preferably in food ingredients, industrial marketing/strategy, and product portfolio management.
  • Proven skills in market intelligence, trade show planning, and cross-functional communication.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); advanced Chinese and working knowledge of Bahasa are strong advantages.
  • Proficient with MS Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge in Food Ingredients and/or Pharma/Life Sciences preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% regionally.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, goal-oriented, and a strong team player comfortable collaborating at all organizational levels.
