In this role you will be responsible for developing and driving the regional strategy for Budenheim’s Life Science division in Asia Pacific, with a focus on the clusters Nutrition, Pharma, Savory, and Baking. Your Tasks
  • Develop impactful strategies for our clusters to successfully capture profitable niche markets in the region by leveraging clear and differentiated value propositions.
  • Collaborate closely with Cluster Portfolio Managers to ensure strategic alignment and execution, providing targeted market intelligence to support regional product launches.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to create in-depth market analyses for relevant segments, in coordination with the global marketing matrix organization.
  • Identify new business opportunities and application areas in collaboration with regional sales teams and the Innovation & Application Development team.
  • Support the creation of high-quality sales tools (e.g., brochures, presentations, sales flyers, digital media, with a focus on application sheets) to drive qualified lead generation across Life Science clusters.
  • Assist with regional trade show activities, technical seminars, and industry conferences on behalf of the Life Science division.
Your Profile
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in marketing specialties, preferably in food ingredients, industrial marketing/strategy, and product portfolio management.
  • Proven skills in market intelligence, trade show planning, and cross-functional communication.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); advanced Chinese and working knowledge of Bahasa are strong advantages.
  • Proficient with MS Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge in Food Ingredients and/or Pharma/Life Sciences preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% regionally.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, goal-oriented, and a strong team player comfortable collaborating at all organizational levels.
