Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 8 + years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Generative AI AI and ML concepts and a strong background in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Proficiency in Kubernetes Terraform and GIT is essential. Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced AI and ML models to enhance our product offerings and drive innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems ensuring seamless functionality.
• Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration to manage and deploy AI applications efficiently.
• Employ Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate and streamline deployment processes.
• Use GIT for version control to maintain code integrity and facilitate collaboration among team members.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability in real-world applications.
• Analyze data and generate insights to inform decision-making and improve business outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies to keep our solutions cutting-edge.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Optimize AI algorithms for performance and scalability to handle large datasets and complex computations.
• Document development processes and create comprehensive reports to communicate findings and progress.
• Contribute to the company’s mission by developing AI solutions that have a positive impact on society.

Qualifications

• Possess a deep understanding of Generative AI and its applications in various industries.
• Demonstrate expertise in AI and ML concepts with a proven track record of successful implementations.
• Have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform for efficient infrastructure management.
• Be proficient in using GIT for collaborative software development.
• Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a valuable asset.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.

Certifications Required

Certified Kubernetes Administrator Terraform Associate AI and ML Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Sept 21, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
