**Position Overview**

Our Seasonal Portable Audio Specialist will represent our client, Sony, and their globally ranked line of portable speakers for a special promotional program running this season. _Your mission?_ To create memorable retail interactions, deepen brand loyalty, and turn casual listeners into lifelong Sony audio enthusiasts. In this role, you will serve as a sales expert within an assigned Best Buy location to introduce the Sony brand to customers. You will ensure successful customer interactions through effective engagement tactics, highlighting unique product features, and providing expert advice and purchasing recommendations that fit customs' individual needs. Your energy, knowledge, and passion will help customers make informed choices, ensuring they leave with the perfect Sony product to enrich their lives.

**Schedule & Location**

+ 20 hours per week

+ Fridays: 3:00pm - 8:00pm, Saturdays & Sundays: 11:00am - 7:00pm

+ This is a temporary short-term program running from November 1. 2024 - December 30, 2024

+ Assigned store is the Best Buy located at30 Andrews Dr, Woodland Park, NJ 07424

**What We Offer**

**Duties**

+ Share enthusiasm about the Sony brand with store associates and customers

+ Provide exciting customer interactions through effective engagement strategies, assisted selling techniques, and product demos

+ Proactively overcome customer objections to close sales

+ Build strong relationships and rapport with store staff

+ Educate and train store staff to communicate Sony information with confidence

+ Ensure products are properly merchandised, stocked, displayed, and functional

+ Maintain business communication with Area Manager via occasional phone calls, web meetings, emails, and/or texts

+ Complete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift

**Qualifications**

+ Previous retail, sales, and/or direct customer support experience

+ Demonstrated passion for audio and music

+ High energy with strong communication and relationship-building skills

+ Access to reliable transportation to commute to local Best Buy store

+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time

+ Available to work the required Friday through Sunday shift schedule

+ Access to a smart device for reporting
