Organization : Path to Freedom Foundation

Location : Remote (U.S.-based preferred)

Time Commitment : 5–7 hours per week

Reports To : Executive Director

About Path to Freedom

Path to Freedom Foundation is a trauma-informed nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of reoffending by equipping incarcerated individuals with communication toolkits that promote mental health, rebuild relationships, and support successful reintegration. Our first pilot will launch in a women’s correctional facility, and we are expanding our reach to include diverse populations impacted by incarceration.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule 3–4 weekly posts across Facebook and TikTok
• Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with our mission and tone
• Assist in caption writing, hashtag research, and visual layout
• Use Canva or similar platforms to design simple branded visuals
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments professionally
• Collaborate with board members to turn stories, updates, or milestones into compelling content
• Suggest new content ideas, including awareness campaigns or video series

Qualifications

• Interest in justice reform, reentry support, or mental health
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with Canva or social media design tools preferred
• Organized and self-directed with attention to tone and professionalism
• Receptive to feedback and collaborative
• Optional: Background in communications, marketing, criminal justice, or nonprofit work
