We are currently seeking a Senior IBM DataStage Developer - ONSITE to join our team in Mahwah, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).
Senior IBM DataStage Developer
We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM DataStage Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting clients' DataStage ETL application environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and support production issues, analyze and fix Job failures and give permanent fix when possible.
- Collaborate with client stake holders and other teams including onshore and offshore.
- Implement changes as per customer requirements.
- Guide application deployments.
- Suggest improvements for better performance.
- Resolve issues reported in lower environments.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Work independently while being part of a bigger team.
Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of applications development experience in IBM DataStage.
- 5+ years of Linux Shell scripting experience
- 5+ years of working experience with SQL server
Desired Skills: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in an onsite/offshore development environment
- A strong team player who is self-motivated, dependable, proactive, organized
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Candidate must be in East Coast region
- Occasional travel to client site may be needed
