CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 3 months
Overview:
The Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst will develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to support multiple projects while providing insights and recommendations for process improvement. This role partners with cross-functional teams on high-visibility initiatives, drives automation, and ensures compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create and enhance reports, dashboards, and data models to support strategy, workflow, and financial analysis.
Analyze data to identify trends, provide insights, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
Improve and automate processes, tools, and documentation to streamline departmental operations.
Lead departmental audits, compliance testing, and support for new systems, products, and regulatory changes.
Serve as the point of contact for departmental system support and vendor coordination.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years related experience, OR 7+ years combined education and work experience.
Proficiency with Mainframe (required) , Cobol , and SQL .
Preferred:
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics.
Experience with dashboarding/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of financial services and regulatory compliance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams are required.
