As a Security Officer - Industrial Site Patrol - Afternoon Shift in Monroe, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible and approachable. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle and/or on foot. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the facility.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
