Job Summary Effective 1/5/2026. 8 AM - 2 PM
Job Description / Essential Elements: DUTIES: Maintain accurate student attendance records to provide information for District and State reporting; maintain student data base to document student enrollment. Enroll and transfer students; maintain various records, schedules, files and rosters; processe documents and materials (e.g. student transfers, cum records, schedules, reports, etc.) to disseminate information to appropriate parties. Responds to inquiries of staff, the public, parents and/or students; administer first aid and medication to students to meet their immediate health care needs; monitor information (e.g. student enrollment data, class size, attendance, etc.) to document activities for adherence to policies and procedures; maintain inventory of office, health office and first aid kit supplies to ensure availability of required item; attend appropriate workshops/conferences for the purpose of ongoing training.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; one year of experience in a school office orequivalent. Must possess skills to operate office equipment including basic computer applications. Must be able to use English in both written and verbal form, using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Ability to sit for prolonged periods; work independently; interact with persons of different age groups and cultural backgrounds. Must possess a valid California Driver's License, First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate, tuberculosis clearance, and criminal justice fingerprint clearance.
