Ideal Candidate Should Have:

At least 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

• Deep expertise in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization
• Proven track record in end-user support and resolving ServiceNow tickets
• Experience collaborating across functions like supply chain, operations, and finance
• Ability to work on system integration with SAP S/4HANA
• Strong skills in configuration, requirements analysis, and user acceptance testing

Job Description:

Thinking Minds' client is seeking a highly experienced SAP IBP Specialist to support and enhance business planning processes through expert-level SAP IBP capabilities. This is a remote role that requires working in EST hours and is ideal for professionals with deep technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration skills.

The selected consultant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective use and optimization of the SAP IBP module. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive support for demand planning , supply planning , and inventory optimization , configuring the module to meet business objectives, and resolving technical issues promptly to maintain operational continuity.

This role involves direct interaction with business stakeholders and end-users to gather and translate business needs into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, finance , and operations to align planning processes with strategic goals. A crucial part of the role includes managing and resolving issues logged in ServiceNow , ensuring high user satisfaction and system efficiency.

The position also requires strong knowledge of SAP integrations, particularly with SAP S/4HANA , to support seamless data flow and functionality across platforms. Additionally, the consultant will lead and support system testing and user acceptance testing to validate system changes and enhancements.
