We are currently seeking a motivating and devoted Sales Field Trainer to join our team. The Field Trainer role is responsible for the coordination, set up, and delivery of our market driven sales and product training program. These programs are focused on developing and expanding our Independent Marketing Organization (IMO) partner’s agents by opening annuity and life markets, educating agents on new products, sales concepts, and sales process best practices. We want our new agents to have an engaged and informed learning experience. This will be achieved by creating and delivering training programs and workshops in a manner that is interesting and useful to both our employees and clients. To be successful you must have a can-do attitude, think outside the box, be quick on your feet when you are thrown a curve ball and have a strong affinity for creating an excellent customer service experience. Responsibilities include conducting external or virtual field training for distribution channels, coordinating with internal event planner for effective delivery of live training, implementing training campaigns, maintaining a database of training materials, communicating training needs, and partnering with internal sales and external partners to identify training gaps. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, experience in selling, wholesaling, or training life insurance and/or annuities preferred, Iowa Insurance License required or ability to obtain within 90 days, working knowledge of Learning Management Systems, knowledge of insurance industry and/or financial services, ability to travel 30% of the time, strong public speaking, organizational and relationship building skills, and demonstrated ability to build and grow a training program targeted at fixed annuity and life insurance industry.
