Summary/Objective

The Roll Off Driver position is responsible for responding to crews and customers in need of roll off dumpster pick-up and delivery.

Based in Sunrise, FL but travels a lot throughout South Florida.  

M-F average hours are 6 AM - 3PM but could vary

Compensation and Benefits  

• Hourly rate is commensurate with position and experience.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Drives a roll off dumpster to and from job sites, customer locations, and landfill.
• Assists with operating the dump trucks as necessary.
• Assists with the organization and cleanliness of warehouse, parking areas, and all the yard property rented or owned by Empire.
• Maintain inventory of dumpsters.
• Communicate daily with superintendents by 3:30 pm each day to prepare needs for the following workday.
• Assist crew with load securement, as necessary.

• Previous experience operating a roll off.
• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License: Commercial Class B CDL (Commercial Class A CDL preferred).
• DOT requirements and clean driving record
• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
