Are you a high achieving Sales professional with experience in the automotive, insurance, real estate, telecommunications, home remodelling, windows or roofing industry with strong canvassing skills and experience in Direct Sales? Mpower Solar is a New York-based energy supplier and solar installer specializing in 100% renewable energy. Since our founding in 2009, our mission has been to offer sustainable, affordable, and reliable renewable energy options to homeowners seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. We service residential and commercial customers across 10 states, and we are growing every day! Mpower’s success has been largely due to our relentless efforts to develop our in-house sales staff and have them fast-track through the ranks into leadership roles.
Mpower proudly offers an exciting opportunity for a full-time W-2 Residential Solar Consultant at our Staten Island , NY office. Our team of appointment setters will schedule qualified appointments for you to meet with homeowners. The Solar Sales Consultant is an integral part of the Solar Division, being the primary point of contact with customers and providing them with details on the benefits of going solar.
The ideal candidate will utilize strong critical thinking skills, an ambitious attitude, and a strong work ethic to effectively demonstrate the benefits of partnering with Mpower for their Solar needs.

Responsibilities:
•\tConduct sales presentations with prospective customers in their home
•\tEducate potential clients about the benefits of solar–saving + environment
•\tAnalyze electricity usage to confirm customer wants and needs while developing rapport to enable you to close the sale
•\tManage accounts from an initial consultation to the installation
•\tEnsure a positive and high-quality customer experience
•\tParticipate in ongoing training camps focused on increasing your earning potential, team building, and mentoring from our leaders

Income Expectation:
•\tDaily direct marketing leads are provided
•\tOn Target Earnings: $150k-$200k
•\tMonthly car stipend: $300.00
•\tPotential to enroll into Senior Solar Consultant within 12 months and earn 2x Solar Consultant Earnings
Qualifications:
•\t3+ year of experience as an Inhome Consultant in Home remodelling , windows, roofing, Insurance, automotive, real estate or telecommunications sales are great transferable sales skills and knowledge.
•\tCanvassing and direct sales skills and experience are essential
•\tEnglish/Spanish bilingual preferred
•\tEffective communication skills, both written and verbal
•\tPositive, solution-oriented attitude
•\tOutgoing personality
•\tValid driver's license and clean driving record; own vehicle
