The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology is recruiting for a part-time Research Assistant in the Leukemia and Drug Development Laboratory (LDDL). This Research Assistant would primarily assist the Murine Research Team within the LDDL.

Essential Functions
  • Contribute to the collective team effort.
  • Organize research results and data according to good laboratory management practices.
  • Conduct murine modeling of heme malignancy models (i.e. breeding schemes, husbandry, transgenes, and general murine colony maintenance).
  • Participate in molecular biology techniques (genotyping, solution making, western blotting, tissue culture, etc...).
  • Perform statistical and graphical analysis of data, interpret data, and assist in judging validity of data.
  • Analyze research results.
  • Work on assigned projects and troubleshoot problems.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental needs. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience

Additional related work experience may be required depending on field or discipline.
