DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform GIS related tasks not limited to: heads up orthorectification of plans, updating of GIS data and databases, quality control and quality assurance of GIS data and attributes, preparing maps, GPS data gathering and spreadsheet documents and other reports, and performing other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and experience equivalent to one year of college with course work in planning, landscape architecture, architecture, civil engineering or a related field. Some GIS experience would be preferred, but not necessary. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the basic principles of GIS, completed at least one semester of a GIS class. Ability to create and utilize ArcGIS Online apps, Field Maps and GPS equipment is a plus but not required. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
