Job Description

Apex Systems is currently hiring a Program Manager to join a growing client in Greenwood Village, CO in support of an Enterprise Portal Transformation

Term: Contract through 2025 to start, strong potential to extend and/or convert to FTE in the future

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Onsite Requirement: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week

Pay range: $65-75/hr

A leading organization is embarking on a strategic initiative to merge two major customer-facing portals into a unified digital experience. These platforms currently serve distinct user bases and operate with different architectures, making this a complex and high-impact transformation .

We’re seeking a Program Manager to lead the discovery phase of this portal conversion effort—partnering across business units, technical teams, and executive leadership to lay the groundwork for success. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a foundational digital experience for a broad customer base.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead discovery efforts to define the roadmap for merging two enterprise portals
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, track action items, and drive accountability
  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to identify priorities and align on strategy
  • Develop clear documentation: status reports, planning artifacts, and stakeholder communications
  • Organize and chunk out complex concepts into actionable workstreams
  • Navigate organizational dynamics with finesse and diplomacy
  • Engage development partners and expand team collaboration as the program evolves
  • Use tools like Jira and Confluence to manage progress and visibility

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of proven experience in program management within large, matrixed organizations
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to “hunt” for the right people, ask the right questions, and drive clarity
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a knack for executive-level presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to break down complex problems
  • Experience with web portal migrations or system integrations
  • Comfort operating in political environments —you know how to tread lightly while driving results
  • Proficiency in Jira , Confluence , and corporate documentation tools
