Shift: 1st Shift

Production Assemblers

Stand-By Personnel has immediate openings for  Production Assemblers in Seneca, Missouri. These are temp-to-hire opportunities on the 1st shift, starting at $16.00 per hour . Qualified candidates must pass an extensive background check and drug screen, with no felony history.

Job Responsibilities:

• Production Assemblers will perform mechanical assembly, potting, soldering, and spot welding.
• Assemble products according to technical drawings, specifications, documents, and/or blueprints.
• Conduct product testing using task-specific equipment such as electronic volt meters, helium leak testers, and digital X-ray systems.
• Process electrodes, including cleaning tabs, sorting for defects, assembling cells, activation, etc.
• Set up and program equipment such as laser beam welders.
• Follow established procedures for all aspects of cell manufacturing and/or assembly.
• Operate specialized equipment such as winders, wrappers, filling systems, X-ray, stackers, welders, activation systems, mixing, coating, calendaring, slitting, blanking equipment, surface grinders, servo presses, and hydraulic presses.
• Perform self-inspections for product quality and collect and organize process and product data from cell builds.
• Meet strict deadlines under pressure while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to obtain ATF clearance for work at an Energetic Devices Facility.
• Task-specific certifications preferred (e.g., electronics soldering, spot welding, crimping, laser beam welding, ESD, DOT packaging/shipping, X-ray Level I/II, brazing).
• Experience with manual and automated assembly equipment preferred.
• Previous experience as an automated systems operator or in a related manufacturing role is preferred.
• Familiarity with set-up and operation of automated pressing equipment dies is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a quality-first mindset.
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Demonstrated ability to meet productivity goals while maintaining high standards.
• Proven record of excellent attendance, reliability, and good housekeeping.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping practices.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sound judgment.
