Position Summary We are seeking a Practice Director to lead and grow our San Jose office. This leadership role is responsible for driving business development, managing client relationships, and overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong track record in executive search, staffing, or professional services and a deep understanding of the accounting and finance industry . Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Growth Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand GHJ Search & Staffing’s presence in San Jose and the Bay Area . Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, CFOs, and executives in accounting & finance. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and business development professionals. Foster a high-performance culture focused on client service, collaboration, and results . Provide strategic direction and support to ensure team success. Client & Candidate Engagement Manage the full recruitment life cycle , from sourcing and screening to placement and follow-up. Ensure exceptional client service by understanding hiring needs and delivering high-quality candidates . Stay updated on industry trends and provide market insights to clients and candidates. Operational Excellence Oversee financial performance, KPIs, and operational efficiencies for the San Jose office. Collaborate with GHJ leadership to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company policies. Qualifications & Experience: 7+ years of experience in executive search, staffing, or professional services. Strong background in accounting, finance, or recruiting for financial roles . Proven ability to develop new business and manage client relationships at the executive level. Leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams .
