We are looking for a driver with a minimum of 2 years experience and a clean MVR. The driver should have a port TWIC card .

Our yard is located in Moreno Valley, CA.

LOCAL: Moreno Valley to Long Beach area

Occasional OTR to NV or AZ (very rare, but optional to our drivers. We offer a "hustler" bonus for any long distance runs). 

Pay depends on experience and is negotiable. ($25-$31 per hour) DOE

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded or empty trailers to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Meet delivery schedules
• Use ELD system
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS,ELD,Relay App) - a plus, but not required. We will train how to use all systems.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid truck driving license
