One of the most prestigious and well-known universities is seeking a Pathologist Assistant. The successful candidate will provide support to the Anatomic Pathology Department by describing, photographing, and grossing specimens and assisting with frozen sections. The company offers a great work environment! Pathologist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision and direction of the Chief of Anatomic Pathology, and/or Director of Operations, Anatomic Pathology, and/or the Clinical Specialist - Supervisor, the Pathologist Assistant:
• Perform the description, photographing, and grossing of specimens, and assist with frozen sections.
• May assist with administrative functions, including preparation and administrative maintenance of protocols, procedures, reports, data, and instruments, and may perform administrative, budgetary, teaching, and other duties.

Pathologist Assistant Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Pathologist Assistant with current active employment in the position. * Bachelor's degree in a biological or health sciences field (e.g., biology, biomedical science, etc.) from a regionally accredited college or university.
• PA(ASCP) certified or eligible for and pass the PA(ASCP) within 12 months after hire.
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited PA Program.

Shift: * Between 9:00 am - 8:30 pm with flexibility. Avispa Technology
