Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support our Contracting and Procurement team in preparing, reviewing, and managing customer and vendor contracts. The ideal candidate will bring experience with commercial agreements, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment. This role will also collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure contracts align with business needs and support customer billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and revise standard agreements such as NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and purchase agreements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure contracts meet business and legal requirements.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Track contract status, manage version control, and monitor deadlines, renewals, and compliance obligations.
  • Negotiation Support: Assist in the negotiation of standard contract terms to protect organizational interests while maintaining strong partnerships.
  • System Management: Maintain and organize the contract management system (CMS), ensuring documents are properly stored, indexed, and accessible.
  • Compliance & Process Improvements: Support special projects such as process enhancements and template updates, ensuring ongoing efficiency and compliance.
  • Legal Research: Conduct research and provide summaries on relevant contract law and regulatory issues as needed.
Requirements:

What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
  • Paralegal certification required
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal or contracts specialist, ideally in a corporate or in-house legal setting
  • Familiarity with commercial contract terms, structures, and concepts (e.g., MSAs, NDAs, SOWs)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with contract management systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Concord, or similar)
  • Basic redlining and markup skills in Word and PDF
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Prior experience in the healthcare and/or software industry
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance considerations in contract management
