Millwright - Hydraulic Specialist
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 10-Hour Shifts | Day Shift
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Specialist to join our team in Calgary, AB. You will work alongside a team of tradespeople to assemble custom machinery , including truck-mounted units , off-road tracked equipment , and VAC trucks . This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hydraulics to apply their expertise in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and install hydraulic systems on custom machinery, including trucks and specialized vehicles.
Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic systems based on diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions.
Work with hydraulic motors, drives, pumps , and other key components during assembly and maintenance.
Test and hose hydraulic components , ensuring systems are fully functional.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure the highest quality of workmanship in all machinery builds.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices and troubleshooting methods.
Assist with field service work and repairs as required.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience with hydraulic systems , particularly in assembling and servicing custom machinery.
Preference for Journeyman Millwright or Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician certification, or equivalent experience.
Strong background in building, servicing, and troubleshooting mobile hydraulic equipment.
Must own a complete set of tools necessary for hydraulic and mechanical assembly.
Previous safety training is an asset, but we will provide additional safety training if needed.
