PROMAN Staffing is partnering with our client, a leader in commercial food preparation solutions, to hire a Mechanical Engineer who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment to join their team in Louisville, KY.

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

This onsite role is responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems from concept to implementation—ensuring safety, durability, and efficiency in demanding kitchen environments.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead full product development lifecycle: design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing
• Design systems and components that meet mechanical, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate design performance and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve emerging issues
• Create reports, technical documentation, and design modifications as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally and gather user feedback for continuous improvement

Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with CAE/CAM tools
• Experience with PLM, FEA, and CFD
• Strong grasp of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, and material science
• Creative problem-solving and technical writing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred
