Poney is an interactive social layer for your calendar - get together without all the text messaging and email threads. We’re passionate about the idea that life is better when you spend time with real friends! Stop looking through 4 million text threads to see who can do what where and when.

This is an early stage startup where all ideas are welcome - we recently launched and are now in the adoption phase where we are bringing Poney to market and building the brand. We want to infuse those efforts with young energy and fun ideas. We are targeting local businesses and groups where we think Poney can solve a real problem that they have. We need more boots on the ground!

We're seeking a creative, energetic university student to work directly with our CEO on grassroots marketing initiatives and digital content creation. Part sales, part marketing, part execution and customer service. You’ll get to put a ton of stuff on your resume and we write great letters of recommendation! ### Hours

6-8 hours per week

### Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and execute local promotional campaigns with user test groups

- Serve as brand ambassador, building relationships with potential business partners

- Collaborate directly with CEO on marketing strategy and implementation

- Track and report on campaign performance

### Required Qualifications

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content trends

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently

- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

- Reliable transportation for local business visits

### Desired Experience

- Previous marketing, sales, or brand ambassador experience

- Video creation and editing skills

- Experience with social media content creation

- Knowledge of digital marketing analytics
