Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable accounting for multiple companies, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable/payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential for supporting our financial operations and providing valuable insights into our financial health. This is a remote position with in-house training an monthly meetings.

Duties:

· Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing payments to vendors and ensuring timely invoicing and collecting payments from customers.

· Perform Calculation and integration of Closing Journal Entries.

· Conduct account analysis to monitor financial performance and identify trends.

· Utilize technical accounting skills to prepare financial statements and reports.

· Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and other apps and software.

· Complete and file Sales Tax and VAT returns monthly and quarterly.

· Support double entry bookkeeping practices to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

· Comparing bank statements and internal records to ensure accuracy.

· Performing basic administrative tasks like filing and record-keeping.

Skills:

· Strong Accounting Knowledge: Solid foundation in accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping techniques; including revenue recognition, prepaid expenses, allocations and accruals.

· Proficiency in Accounting Software: Proficiency using QuickBooks and Excel is required.

· Attention to Detail: Accuracy is crucial in bookkeeping.

· Organizational Skills: Accountants must be organized to manage financial records effectively.

· Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with management and other departments.
