Role: Jr. QA Tester
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
Reviews, learns, and understands software functionality to properly test specific features
Under direct supervision of senior stakeholders such as Testers or Senior Testers, conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyzes results to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
Executes test cases, analyze the results and submits the observations to senior members, who validate the analysis
Records problems and issues in accordance with project's problem and issues management plans
Documents defects and generates test metrics
Tracks defects to resolution within defined timeframe
Can write basic scripts in querying languages such as SQL to validate test findings
