Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join a leading plastics manufacturing company in Evansville, IN. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to ensure equipment runs reliably and efficiently to support production operations.

Pay Rate: Based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Assist with installation, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or plastics industry
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Electrical maintenance experience required
• Experience with automation, robotics, and PLCs preferred
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various physical positions as needed
